Magical Edits

Sometimes people really want a photo of all their pets together, but the pets will not cooperate. Luckily magical edits done in post-production can save the day!

These three dogs were a close-knit pack, but they were too high-energy to calmly sit next to each other. I was able to get individual shots from a similar angle with the same background so I knew they could be combined later.

These two cats would not pose together (the one on the left still had kitten energy and the older cat kept jumping down), so I made sure to get individual shots of each one at about the same angle with the blue couch as a backdrop.

Here’s the final image of Quincy and Mr. Clover calmly sharing the couch.

These three did pose together but the photo would have been just a little bit better if the dog on the right were closer to the other two.

Here are Bob, Ben & Sabina, closer than ever. Other edits done here are removing the dog’s harnesses, removing random objects in the background and dirt off the floor.

If you are worried about your pets posing together, we’ve always got a backup plan by getting individual portraits that can be stitched together later in post-production. Email me at PipiDiamond@gmail.com to start the process of getting your pets beautifully photographed.
